The Pelican Rooms is your hub for wellness in Deal. A sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation, inspired by the sea.

Led by Kate, a professional with 25 years of spa experience specialising in massage, natural facelift facials, aromatherapy and maternity reflexology. Her extensive background includes 10 years as Franchisee of the Neal’s Yard Remedies store and therapy rooms in Edinburgh and working as Head of Spa & Retail at Haeckels in Margate. Kate and her team have a varied skillset including advanced aesthetic treatments.

The treatment menu features a variety of face and body treatments using products from Voya, the world’s first certified organic seaweed based skincare range. The menu also offers specialised treatments such as a Deep Tissue massage which targets tension and tightness in the muscles, Gua Sha facial inspired by traditional Chinese and Thai medicine, and Reflexology, an ancient practice designed to release tension and enhance the body’s natural energy flow.

Complementing the treatment rooms is a tranquil yoga studio beneath. The studio offers daily classes, and includes a range of teaching styles, meditation and sound baths. 

The spa’s interior, designed in collaboration with Michelle Kelly (also responsible for The Rose and The Blue Pelican design), showcases a serene blue and white palette, including wallpaper by Brick House Design, a local firm celebrating the work of printmaker Edward Bawden, and Liberty London.
